3 D X - R O B O T I C A . C A O P T I M I Z A T I O N M A N U A L F O R C Y B E R P U N K S Every program makes demands of a computer. Similarly, in XRCA, that demand increases with each visitor or attraction added. Unless a comp is defective, occasional "stopages" are harmless, once even regarded as "fun" by many lovers of free 3D-VR. While XRCA is making great improvements in the performance of this free system, you can improve performance as well. Optimize your cyberpunk pleasure with... CYBERTOOL #1: MSIE XRCA X-3DME worlds and accessories load via MSIE and blaxxun. Sometimes those 2 programs need encouragement to communicate. Comp too tired? - bookmark & restart! If need be: DURING ACTIVATION OF X-ROBOTICA IN MSIE, MINIMIZE / MAXIMIZE THE BROWSER! CYBERTOOL #2: RIGHT-CLICK "SETTINGS" & "HARDWARE" In any world, go to "Settings / Preferences / General / User Interface Level" and choose "Expert". Next, "High Quality" just makes things "lag". So, choose: "Hardware". Test other "Preferences" now if you wish. CYBERTOOL #3: KEYBOARD AV-CAMS Arrow ----> & Shift key combinations provide optimal avatar-viewing pleasure via Zoom & Pan. CYBERTOOL #4: CHAT CONSOLE BUTTONS 1. Pop-up and down our NAV-GATEs and DATA-SCANs or 2. Lighten / darken our translucent CHAT BACKGROUND and 3. Come back to this website and 4. Put a visitor name viewer KEY-HOLE on your Desk-top! CYBERTOOL #5: PRIVATE CHAT & "BEAM TO" CLICK ON a visitor's name in the NAV-GATE to enjoy the P-CHAT CONSOLE options! CYBERTOOL #6: REGISTRATION provides a growing number of privileges, ie. notification of events. Registered builders & serious users will soon be invited to add external worlds to our TRANSPONDER list (in development). CYBERTOOL #7: THE SECRET CYBERTOOL BOX CHAT CONSOLE: Open layers of toolbox buttons for camera viewpoint auto-adjustments and who-knows-what! P.S. Just kidding with the old analog 3D cog wheels. Enjoy, you crazy-eyed cyberpunk, you!
